This won't mean much to most of you right now, but when 10.8 Mountain Lion comes out there will be a new security feature called Gatekeeper which will warn you if an app is not from a trusted developer. VidConvert Version 1.2.2 is also now signed with an Apple Developer ID.

If you've been having any issues and even if not you should update at your earliest convenience. VidConvert Version 1.2.2 is being released today and it contains a couple of bug fixes when using the deinterlace option and when entering values into the Advanced panel. There is a one-time setup with Version 4.0 where the user must select the hard drive to be used for uninstalling, and after that things will work as expected.
